• 15-Sep-2026 - Good News: Rescission of Short-Term CAC Policy for Contractors Policy Update: U.S. Army Human Resources Command has officially rescinded the short-term Common Access Card (CAC) mandate for Army contractors. Impact: CAC issuance will return to standard processing terms aligned with contract performance dates and standard DEERS regulations. Action Required: None required immediately. Personnel due for renewal should schedule appointments through standard DEERS/RAPIDS channels.

• 04-Nov-2025 - Due to the implementation of the new Entry/Exit System (EES) across the Schengen Area, the Italian Ministry of the Interior has introduced a nationwide change to the Sojourner’s permit application process effective October 14, 2025.
