• 04-Nov-2025 - Due to the implementation of the new Entry/Exit System (EES) across the Schengen Area, the Italian Ministry of the Interior has introduced a nationwide change to the Sojourner’s permit application process effective October 14, 2025. • 05-Aug-2025 - ECOPS may not be accessible on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month between 1200 and 1400 CET for maintenance. Please plan accordingly.
• 10-Jul-2025 - There is a known issue where ECOPS system notifications are not being received by users. This is due to the email being rejected by the email provider. If you are a user who is affected by this issue, please reach out to ECOPS Technical Support.
• 26-Mar-2025 - DOCPER is currently ½ Staffed. We share and divide responsibility for Contract and Contractor Applications. *PLEASE ALLOW FOR ADDITIONAL PROCESSING TIME* Best Practices: 1. CONTRACT: Contact your DOCPER Analyst(s) who administer your contact/application. If they are not available –Use the DOCPER Organizational mailbox address. 2. APPLICATIONS: If there are multiple applications for one contract – contact your assigned analysts to identify and submit priority applicants
• 12-Sep-2024 - The European Union will introduce a new Entry/Exit System (EES) on 12 October 2025.
